Ensuring that all students have an opportunity to learn and feel successful, Caldwell Exempted School district is offering a digital learning platform. Beginning with the 2020-21 school year, Caldwell Virtual Academy will be available for students who need credit recovery to meet graduation requirements. The digital academy will also be an opportunity for students to stay connected due to an extended illness or other circumstances. The Caldwell Virtual Academy will also offer an opportunity for gifted learners to take advanced courses. More information about the academy will be available in the fall.📚🍎📚

CHS Community:

Current assignments are due this Wednesday, May 13th (last assignment submission for seniors.)
Freshmen, sophomores, and juniors will receive their FINAL assignment on the 13th, and it is DUE the following Wednesday, May 20th.

CHS Seniors:
Seniors may return your textbook and chromebooks May 13 and May 14 (between 8-3pm). However, should need your textbooks and chromebook to complete your last nine week's work, you may hold onto them.

The CES Schoolwide Title 1 Program will be hosting a Parent/Student Engagement Event on May 20th. Details listed below. Geared for grades Pre-K to 3. There will be a rain date posted if the forecast shows rain. 🦁🐯🐒

Today’s Super Senior is Andrew Gregg.
Parents: Heather & Randy Gregg
School attended: Andrew is a senior at Caldwell High School.
Activities/Hobbies: Andrew played soccer, baseball, basketball, and football. He is involved in FFA and two youth groups. He enjoys riding fast, spending time with the boys, his family, and girlfriend Anna.
Future plans: Andrew will join the United States Army in June and will train as a Wheeled Mechanic.

Hobbies/Activities: Hannah likes to read, walk her dogs, travel, attend live concerts, and bake/cook.

Future Plans: Hannah plans to attend Washington State Community College to get her associates degree in social work.
Superpower: A superpower she would like to have is the ability to heal others.


Class of 2020:
Graduation will be different.
Each student will graduate individually during the week of May 11 in the Gym. We will assign each student a specific time and day. You may bring 4 guests. You will cross the graduation stage, recieve your diploma, turn your tassel, and toss your cap. Each event will be recorded and a final digital video produced.
Routes of entrance and exit will be marked and supervised.

Today we celebrate our Fantastic School Nurse, Mrs. Croucher, on School Nurses’ Day. Jennifer Croucher serves as school nurse for Caldwell Elementary & Caldwell High School. From Band-Aids to Hair Braids, our nurse does it all. Thank You Nurse Jennifer!
