Caldwell Exempted Village School District

Athletes and coaches who will be using either the CHS Gym or Weight Room please adhere to the following guidelines that must be followed while using these facilities. Cameras have been installed in both the weight room and the gym. Weight Room - Max Capacity of 7 individuals at a time including a coach - Immediate hand washing/ sanitation upon entry (Stations will be set up for this; encourage re-washing/ sanitizing while athletes are present - Athletes are to follow 6 feet distancing guidelines. No lingering/ touching/ horseplay with others - Back doors and front door propped open to allow ventilation throughout area - Coaches are to wear face coverings while in the building and around athletes - Athletes and/or coaches are to spray/ wipe down equipment before and after each use of equipment. Disinfecting spray/ wipes/ and towels will be provided and updated regularly. The coach should be observing for this the entire workout and reinforcing cleaning after each use - Ice machine and its equipment are off limits to athletes. Only a coach should be accessing it if needed - Athletes personal items are to be left outside of the weightroom. They need to leave clothes, bags, personal items outside of the area. Gymnasium - Max capacity of 15 at a time including a coach - Immediate hand washing/ sanitation upon entry (Stations will be set up for this; encourage re-washing/ sanitizing while athletes are present - Athletes and/or coaches are to spray/ wipe down equipment before and after each use of equipment. Disinfecting spray/ wipes/ and towels will be provided and updated regularly. They should not take in clothes, bags, etc. - Stagger water breaks that way athletes can continue to follow distancing guidelines Outdoor facilities are open for skill training purposes. All CHS students need to turn in their Chromebooks this week at the high school. The office will be open from 8:00-3:00 Monday through Friday this week.

Ensuring that all students have an opportunity to learn and feel successful, Caldwell Exempted School district is offering a digital learning platform. Beginning with the 2020-21 school year, Caldwell Virtual Academy will be available for students who need credit recovery to meet graduation requirements. The digital academy will also be an opportunity for students to stay connected due to an extended illness or other circumstances. The Caldwell Virtual Academy will also offer an opportunity for gifted learners to take advanced courses. More information about the academy will be available in the fall.📚🍎📚

CHS Community: We are in the home stretch! Current assignments are due this Wednesday, May 13th (last assignment submission for seniors.) Freshmen, sophomores, and juniors will receive their FINAL assignment on the 13th, and it is DUE the following Wednesday, May 20th.

CHS Seniors: Seniors may return your textbook and chromebooks May 13 and May 14 (between 8-3pm). However, should need your textbooks and chromebook to complete your last nine week's work, you may hold onto them.
