PTO Meeting
August 2, 2018
7 PM

President Ashley Reiter called the 7pm meeting to order. Officers Ashley Reiter, Kristen Huck, teachers/staff Tiffany Speck, Mary Pangle, Mindy Theold, and 4 other parents were present.

The minutes of the May meeting were read and approved by Jennifer, second by Tiffany.

The treasurers report was approved by Lareissa, second by Megan.

In old business, our box tops theme for this year will be “Building a Brighter Future.” Stan Randolph was present to give an update on the digital sign. He has gotten sponsors to donate $1400 and asked the PTO to donate $1800 to cover the remainder of the digital sign. A motion to approve the $1800 donation was made by Abby, second by Jennifer. A motion was also made by Jennifer to approve the spending of $500 on supplies for the teacher supply closet, second by Abby.

In new business, the Back to School Bash is scheduled for August 16th. Teachers are needed for the drunk tank. Kona Ice is scheduled to be there and we will be selling shirts bought from Darla Haas. February 8th was set as the date for the Father Daughter Dance. March 29th was set as the date for the Spring Fling. It was decided that PTO meetings would be the first Thursday of every month at 6pm. Mindy is getting a total to the PTO to help fund AR, this was tabled until the September meeting. A motion to adjourn was made by Mindy, second by Abby.

Next meeting will be held Thursday, September 6th at 6pm.
