CES 7th Grader, Jonas Copley, was rewarded with 5 tickets to watch the Cleveland Browns play the Buffalo Bills on November 10th! Jonas has proven to be a true leader in the Junior High, teaching students how to play soccer during recess & taking the initiative to raise funds to purchase soccer equipment for everyone to enjoy.


CEVSD is pleased to announce the development of Crisis Prevention Intervention Teams at both CES & CHS. CPI focuses on deescalation and non-violent behavior interventions. Natalie Ford, Clint Crane, Stephanie Dolweck, and Beth Jarvis all earned their CPI trainer certification last week. We are extremely proud of our staff and their commitment to the safety of our students!!

CES 6th grader, Miss Natalee Bouey was the Redskin Pride Ticket winner today, winning 5 tickets to the Cleveland Browns’ game vs. the Seattle Seahawks on October 13th! CEVSD has partnered with the Browns to reward students for coming school and working hard. Congrats Natalee!


Reminder to those students on the CHS Homecoming Court, pictures will be taken tomorrow at the Fairgrounds. Please wear dressy attire and meet at the high school @ 8:40am. Mrs. Singleton will accompany the Court to the Fairgrounds.


In honor of Homecoming next week at CHS, the students will be participating in Spirit Week from September 30-October 4! All events will be followed by the Homecoming Football game Friday night @ 7:00 pm. #showyourspirit


Highlights from the weekend include a huge Division III win @ the Malone Invitational for the CHS Boys’ Cross Country Team. The Girls’ Team was not far behind coming in 2nd. The CHS Soccer Team defeated Fort Frye 10-0. #redskinpride



The Fairgrounds were flooded with pep tonight!! The CHS Cheerleaders were joined by the Alumni Cheerleaders, a spirited Tribe, and our amazing Marching Band, all cheering on our Skins to a stellar 21-18 win over Monroe Central tonight. #skinsforthewin





Our CJHS teams cleaned house last night. The Jr. High Football Team beat the Zeps 20-14.! Both the 7th & 8th grade Volleyball Teams beat Frontier!! Congrats to all the players & coaches 🏈🏐📣. #cleansweep

The Caldwell Exempted Village School District is proud to have an AmeriCorps Ohio College Guide, through Scholarship Central in Muskingum County, to periodically be on campus helping students with scholarships, college access, and on nights such as our FAFSA Completion Night. This person would also assist with cataloging Noble County scholarships to funnel to the Muskingum County Community Foundation's online search function to make scholarship searching easier for Caldwell students.

The student body @ CHS honored Constitution Day with an assembly focusing on their natural rights and the role the military has in their protection.
Students were challenged to memorize and recite the preamble to the constitution. #government #citizenship

Great news for our CEVSD families!! At last Thursday’s board meeting, the board voted to eliminate all school fees for students during the 2019-2020 school year. If you have already paid your student’s fees, please contact the school and indicate whether or not you would like a refund or would like a credit on your child’s lunch account. Refunds will be issued at the board office.
