Mrs. Baker’s students are constantly learning through hands-on, real-world projects that include designing and coding robots, exploring agriculture, food science, and 3D modeling. One of her newest and most popular courses, Medical Detectives, gives students the chance to step into the role of healthcare professionals. They have learned how to take vitals, diagnose diseases, and even tested antibiotics on bacteria samples to determine the best treatment.
She also goes the extra mile to share these great experiences with families through her CTE Classroom Newsletter, which showcases the excitement and innovation happening in her classroom every day.

This week we are proud to recognize Andrea Raines, one of our outstanding Agriscience teachers at CHS! She brings learning to life every day from organizing student work experiences at the local dog shelter, to teaching anatomy with her own horses, to guiding students through hands-on lessons like dissecting beef hearts to better understand animal science.
She’s also an active leader in our FFA chapter and will be heading to the National FFA Convention next week with her students and the rest of the FFA chapter! Just another example of her dedication to creating meaningful learning experiences both inside and outside the classroom.

Parking Reminder for Friday Night’s Game
We are expecting a big crowd at the TAC this Friday! This short video was made before our first home game, but all of the parking information still applies. Please take a minute to watch so you know where to park and how to enter the stadium area safely. We will run shuttles every 15 minutes from the Elementary starting at 6:00. (pick up in front of the playground)

We’re thrilled to announce our very first honoree: Al Matthews- a longtime Caldwell bus driver and a respected member of our community.
Al has safely transported generations of Caldwell students, greeting them each day with a smile and a kind word. His commitment, dependability, and genuine care for our kids make him a shining example of what it means to be a Caldwell Redskin.

This week at the county fair, several of our students — along with students from neighboring districts — showcased their animals and put in countless hours of hard work, dedication, and care. Raising, training, and presenting livestock is no small feat, and we are so proud of their efforts and accomplishments.
Congratulations to all of our young exhibitors for representing themselves, their families, and our district with such commitment and pride!

Due to recent heavy rainfall, the installation of the rubberized surface on our new football, soccer, and track facility has been delayed by one week. To ensure a safe and high-quality finish, the field and track will remain closed through Thursday, July 25th.
We truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this weather-related delay. The excitement continues to build, and we can’t wait to share this outstanding facility with our athletes, students, and the entire community very soon!

On Friday, March 28th, Coastal Wilds will be at CES with their mobile zoo experience. Their animal experts who are experienced in the fields of wildlife rehabilitation and zoological conservation will be offering two free 30-minute presentations. Coastal Wilds will be bringing zoo animals with them to enhance the experience. If you wish for your student to participate, please sign and return the permission slip to school by Thursday, March 27th. Permission slips and order forms for photos/ merchandise (optional) were sent home today. No purchase is necessary, but the permission slip is necessary to attend the show.

2024 Christmas Concert Reminders...
All students in grades 1-4 will be performing during school for staff and students on Friday, December 13th and then will perform a concert for parents and the community @ 7pm on Friday, December 13th in the CES gymnasium.
5th and 6th grade students who have signed up for the Christmas Chorus will perform on Friday, December 13th @ 1PM in the CES gymnasium. Parents of these students are welcome to attend this concert because these students will only perform at this concert and not in the evening.
Parents of 1st-4th graders are welcome to attend the evening concert starting @7pm.
The band concert is Sunday, December 15 @ 6pm in the CHS auditorium.
The choir concert is Tuesday, December 17@ 7pm in the CHS auditorium.
Hello Caldwell Community!
Our CHS Volleyball Team is gearing up for their first-ever Division 7 Regional Championship on Sat., Nov. 2nd at 2pm, with the winner advancing to the State Final Four! To rally behind our team, there will be a pep bus departing from the CHS parking lot at 12:45pm. This opportunity is open to students in grades 7-12. Students riding the bus will receive a free ticket into the game at Zanesville.
If any student prefers not to ride the bus back after the game, they just need a guardian's note. To join, students simply need to sign up in the school office by noon tomorrow.
Let’s pack the bus with Caldwell spirit and support our team on this historic day!
