PTO Meeting

April 5, 2018

3:30 PM

President Ashley Reiter called the 3:30 meeting to order. Officers Ashley Reiter, Heather Saling, teachers/staff Mindy Theobald, Emily Schilling, Marlena Kress, Rebecca Johnson, Torie Briggs, Brandey Mincks, Denise Furr, and Tiffany Speck.

The minutes of the March meeting were read and approved by Mindy, second by Becca.

The treasurer’s report was approved by Denise, second by Torie.

In old business, Mrs. Furr said she would help with box tops next year. The Spring Fling was a success. We made a profit of approximately $4000. Teacher Appreciation Week is May 7-11. It was approved to spend $200 on supplies and treats for the teachers. Mother Son fishing day is scheduled for Saturday, May 5 from 10-11:30. Ashley will chair the event. The digital sign was discussed. Student council has agreed to pay for most of the cost.

In new business, a possible meeting time change was discussed for next year, possibly 5:30 PM on the first Thursday of every month. Field Day is May 17th and PTO will provide popsicles for the students.

The next meeting will be held Thursday, May 3rd at 7 PM. A motion to adjourn was made by Becca and second by Denise.
